Conference:
2025 People, Plants and Paving
Description:
Times sure have changed over the past few years. Businesses change and people always seem to be changing. We now have 4 generations in the workplace. What doesn’t change is the value of building trusted relationships with the people we work with outside and inside our businesses. In this ever changing business environment, trusted relationships are the constant – the North Star – that change the growth trajectories of individuals and companies.
This highly interactive breakout will be aligned with the Association’s and Members’ desire to create high-end, meaningful relationships with customers, prospects, vendors, and other stakeholders. I will share the “Max the taxicab driver” story that illustrates his approach to building competitor-proof relationships as well as the key relational capital concepts/takeaways that follow:
- Orientation to the core Relational Capital concepts
- Displaying the Principle of Worthy Intent
- Locating Relational GPS® – the roadmap for successful business relationships
- Applying the Essential Qualities of Relational Capital – credibility, integrity, authenticity
- Identifying, measuring, and advancing key relationships using the Relational Ladder® process
- Creating relationships across the Four Generations in the Workplace
